Julie Pangilinan

Julie began her yoga journey in 2001.  As a former personal fitness trainer and a marathon runner, she decided to try a yoga class and from that moment on, she knew that yoga would be in her life forever because of the physical comfort and peace of mind that yoga brought her.  In fact, she found so much love and passion in her yoga practice that she decided to become a yoga teacher and eventually a studio owner.  Julie strongly believes in yoga and really loves being part of the Moksha community.   A community who holds such high environmental and social beliefs.

She completed her Moksha Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand in 2006, Moksha Yoga Level 2 in 2008, Moksha Flow in 2012, and Moksha Yoga Prenatal in 2015. Julie has trained in Yin Yoga with Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers, Biff Mithoefer, and Joe Barnett and Vinyasa Yoga with Jason Crandell, and Forest Yoga with Ana Forest. “Can you tell I love learning?”

Julie has been a Board Member on the Heart of Orleans Business Improvement Association since 2012, and volunteers on a weekly basis with Shepherds of Good Hope shelter.  Julie always aims high and is proud that Moksha Yoga Orleans won the Orleans Chamber of Commerce “Best Small Business” Award in 2014”, and the “Best Arts & Leisure” award in 2013

On a personal note, Julie is a SERIOUS cat lover, enjoys tennis, loves children and is hoping to start her own family one day soon.
